Robert is a documentary producer and director whose work examines thought-provoking intersections of the contemporary American experience. He recently directed Con Moto: The Alexander String Quartet. Con Moto recently won ‘Best Documentary’ at the Classical Arts Film Festival was programmed as part of KQED's Truly CA 12th season, was a finalist at the Polish Film Festival and a semi-finalist at the Phoenix Melbourne Film Festival. Producing credits include the feature animated documentary, Abina and The Important Men and the ongoing Web Series, Doc Film Forum. He is also editor on the feature documentary film, Nail House.

Robert serves as the Associate Director for the Documentary Film Institute at San Francisco State University (SFSU). He holds an MFA in Cinema Production from The School of Cinema at SFSU and a BA in Film Studies from CSUS.
