The documentary project recently received a substantial grant from the Nasiri Foundation in the amount of $40,000 to complete production on the film. Co-Conspirators, Behrens and Karim, were awarded an additional $40,000 for the film's production from the Center for Asian-American Media (CAAM) during the height of the pandemic in fall 2020. While the film experienced the delays and challenges of the pandemic, Behrens and Karim spent many hours on zoom with their film editor Corey Ohama (an SF State alumna) editing the more than 40 hours of footage that they already had shot prior to February 2020. The Nasiri grant has been able to be used to support film crews, editing, and assist with completing the production and post-production phases of the project. Behrens and Karim plan to complete the film by late 2022.

We humbly thank our funders and supporters for believing in this project!
